FAQs

Do I need to update my old site?

YES! It is critical to keep your website up to date, as older sites that are not maintained can break on newer web browsers and mobile phones, and more importantly, are susceptible to malware, information breaches, and other nasty things that can put you in costly situations or, worse, legal trouble.

How long will it take?

The project's timeline is influenced by its complexity and scope. We will discuss the timeline in detail during our initial consultation. A ballpark estimate of 2–6 weeks for most projects, although it is possible to have a finished website within a single week under specific circumstances, if you need your site up and running immediately please let know when you fill out the contact form and I can let you know right away if it would be possible for me to accomplish it within the time span you have.

What do you use to build websites?

Over the years I've made websites with raw HTML and CSS code, WordPress, Squarespace and Wix. I don't use any of these anymore for a number of reasons, now I use a workflow pipeline starting with Relume for the Sitemap, Wireframe, and Style Guide, then I import those into Webflow, an amazing no-code website builder and get to work actually creating the site and making sure it looks and runs great. I also use a number of extra tools and software along the way to maximize efficiency and create the best possible websites for you. Feel free to ask me about this in more detail, especially if you have an interest in doing some web development on your own.

What if i want to make changes after the site is done?

I can provide continuous updates and modifications to your website, head over to our Pricing page, where you can find comprehensive information regarding the costs associated with updates.

Can you hand the site over to me after you've built it?

Certainly. If you prefer to manage the hosting independently, have exceeded your budget, or have any other reason for wanting to take control of your website, I can facilitate the transfer once the site is completed or at any stage during development. Please note that if you wish to transfer a site that I am currently maintaining, a nominal fee will apply to cover the time involved in the transfer process.
